Hi,
The battery on my Easy Motion Rebel Lynx was a victim of the Alcan – it apparently fell off somewhere either in Alaska and Canada. I understand that the manufacturer is out of business and am wondering if you can help me source a replacement. My phone number is ############# and I would really appreciate hearing back from you.

Hi Jim! Major Bummer! That battery communicates with the motor controller and is very difficult to replace. We need a working OEM BMS (battery management system/ the circuit board in the battery) in order to build a battery, and custom battery builds can get quite expensive. However, BH is not totally out of business they just pulled out of the USA last I heard. You could try contacting Crazy Lenny’s in Madison. I think they still deal in BH Bikes.

The other option would be to Replace the whole electric system and rear wheel/motor combo with an aftermarket one.
